It is stunning that the CEO of a publicly traded company can insult customers. And get away with it. More than anything, it is the name calling that I find the most reprehensible. Why not just state the opinion rather insult those that you don’t agree with?

Customer aren’t, for the most part, bigots. Customers do have deeply held religious beliefs. Those beliefs should be respected, on all sides.

We hear a lot from corporations about inclusion. That is a good thing. Does inclusion mean accepting the difference of opinion that people of faith bring to the table? Will their opinions be respected?

But there are still bigots out there fighting for people to be discriminated against.
